44 Minahreps And Matreps Found Dead

Hundreds of protestors rounded up fouty-four minahreps and matreps yesterday outside a club located in Clarke Quay. The protestors identified themselves as members of various anti-minahrep and matrep Facebook groups available online.

The perpetrators of the mass murder allegedly tied each minahrep with a raffiah string before wiping their faces with a made-in-China bleach. The victims were also dragooned to wear Hannibal Lecter masks, the ones used for mental patients who are unable to -yup, you guessed it- shut their mouths.

The matreps suffered an even more torturous ordeal, with their eyeballs plucked out of their sockets. One of the protestors, when interviewed, explained that the punishment was to teach them a lesson to stop accusing innocent people of staring at them…

Haha, of course it did not happen but after scanning through a Facebook fanpage known as ‘Anti Minahs & Kenings 2.0′, I can somehow foresee my satirical anecdote turning into a reality. It is an interesting fanpage filled with an entertaining volume of comments by minahrep haters. I noticed some of its members have already proclaimed their addiction to the page.

I have personally always confuted the behaviour of the minahreps in public. They are usually scantily clad in penis-boggling dress and skirts while speaking as loud as a group of 470 A.D. barbarians. I don’t mind the former but the latter is just foolishidiculous.

The matreps have always believed that their infamous floating trucker caps were coup de foudre. From the way they proudly stroll down the streets with those caps on and their boneless arms flying around , I can only imagine that it is their ultimate ambition to bring the trend to the Europe. After all, floating caps will come in handy when catching cum, won’t they?

Don’t get me wrong – I am neither a minahrep nor a matrep hater. I am not (and will never be) a member of any Facebook fanpage or group directed against them. However, I am displeased by the attitude that they potray in public. This may seem a bit harsh but they look like a bunch of human beings with no sense of direction in life.

That minahrep and matrep subculture is already ubiquitous in the Malay community. A lot of people identify them by their sense of fashion. Nonetheless, I believe that like any other fashion styles, theirs is definitely a one-off thing heading towards the deadpool. Do not be surprised to see a whole new generation of minahreps and matreps in erm…pink leotards?

While it is perfectly all right to loathe the minahreps and matreps for their rowdy personalities, it may not be a brilliant idea to distance ourselves from them (or worse, killing them). Who else is going to help them if not the people from the same community?

The minahrep and matrep subculture will never be extinct but its presence will fade away sooner or later, just like what happened to the hippies culture in America. I really hope that they amend their ways of behaving in public. I guess it takes time for maturity (plus positive side effects from moral education) to set in.
